Nutrition is one key to developing and maintaining healthy living for an individual. With every process in our rice milling we make sure that the grains don’t lose its nutritional value and our products contain enough enough proteins, fibre, vitamins, calcium and iron.
We make sure that the following is observed at our workplace:

- 2. Implementing waste management practices and promoting waste reduction techniques.
- 3. Promoting the development and use of sustainable facilities, continuously striving for greener buildings and workplaces
Child Labour Policy
We respect and honor the human rights of people involved in our business and, in particular, do not use or tolerate any form of forced or child labor. Child labor is not used in any stage of manufacturing and we follow the legislation which states that “No child below the age of 14 years shall be employed to work in any factory or mine or engaged in any other hazardous employment”.
Assistance to Farmers
Wesderby provides all kind of technical assistance to the farmers. We help the farmers learn something new and increase their capacity to grow their businesses, increase sustainability, increase access to capital, or otherwise play a larger or more meaningful role in the food economy. We make sure that the farmers buy high quality seeds from Government authorised centers and also give them financial assistance if they need any.
Ensuring the safety of our employees is a top priority at Wesderby. This influences all decisions made in the company from machinery purchased to work practices. Only well trained employees are allowed to operate machineries. We have an excellent safety record till date and with regular safety audits we hope to maintain this record.
